An eCard allows patrons immediate access to many of the Library's online services including subscription databases and The New York Times. It also allows patrons to place holds and borrow eBooks.
Prefer a physical card to check out books and other material? Stop by any branch to get an actual library card issued as well.

Library Books: can be checked out for 3 weeks and may be renewed, unless someone else has the item on hold
Databases: Acalanes library subscribes to over 30 online databases, through six different publishers. They are a great tool for research. Click here for the Databases & Research page, or use the tab at the top.
Textbooks: are available for in-library use
