Annotated Bibliography-Poets

Creating an Annotated Bibliography using NoodleTools

WHAT IS AN ANNOTATED BIBLIOGRAPHY?

  • An Annotated Bibliography is an organized list of sources -like a Works Cited page
  • Each source is followed by a brief note or “annotation”
  • Annotations are short paragraphs - five to seven sentences-that are written right below the source citation
  • Your paragraphs are about your author and his/her/their works.

For this assignment, you must include a minimum of THREE SOURCES (at least 1 website and 1 database) with a purposeful annotation for each that must include:

  • SOURCE 1- Early life/ Beginning of career

  • SOURCE 2- Writing Career/ Notable works

  • SOURCE 3- Lasting impact/ Achievements

  •  **CHOOSE a writer that opens up the available research for these three sources**
