VOLUNTEER LINKS - TRAFFIC, ROAD & BIKE SAFETY
Safe routes to Acalanes High School
Our mission is to develop a dedicated and protected bicycle and pedestrian path down the center of Pleasant Hill Road from Old Tunnel Road to Acalanes High School at the Deer Hill Road/Stanley Boulevard intersection.
Contra Costa Transportation Authority
At CCTA, we collect community input on our projects and initiatives. We use this feedback to inform the way we design and implement our transportation plans, to help travelers get where they need to go more efficiently. If you live, work, or travel through Contra Costa County, we want to hear from you!
VOLUNTEER LINKS - MEDICAL & HEALTH
Xenophon Therapeutic in Orinda - Work with the horses or help the students!
Xenophon’s program could not happen without the help of many volunteers. For our lesson program, each rider requires 3 volunteers to ensure their safety on the horse and enhance the success of their lesson. Many other aspects of the center’s operations rely on the generosity of helping hands: our fundraisers, maintenance needs around the property, care of our horses, or administrative tasks.
Volunteer at Contra Costa Co Medical Center
